Oh, I’d say so, and $1.4 million says they are! But apparently not if you are US TV network, ABC. They’ve recently been dragged before the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) for the pre-watershed airing of an episode of police drama NYPD Blue. The scene in question depicts a boy surprising a woman (Charlotte Ross) who is preparing to take a shower - see below. The network’s argument that “the buttocks are not a sexual organ” was rejected by the FCC who called the show indecent for showing ”sexual organs and excretory organs - specifically an adult woman’s buttocks” between watershed hours (6am and 10pm.) From the working title “Bond 22” to a confirmed title of Quantum of Solace, the latest installment in James Bond’s ongoing quest to rid the world of megalomaniacs and other grand-scale aberrants will hit the big screen later in the year. The title comes from an Ian Fleming short story. Bond girls, 21-year old Brit Gemma Arterton and 28-year old Ukrainian supermodel Olga Kurylenko have been hard at it at Pinewood Studios where Arterton is reported to have already filmed her love scenes with Bond (Daniel Craig.) The movie is tagged for release in November 2008.
